Mission & PurposeAt The Cross Global Ministries is a faith-based Christian organization whose mission is to engage and encourage the Children of God through outreach, missions, and devotion.
At The Cross Global Ministries serves as the governing organization and ministry for the online prayer portal Great Is, a vehicle to host, organize, and execute Christian conferences and events, and support, coordinate, and implement global mission trips.

Board of Directors & Executive Director

Shaniqua Rischer, Executive Director & President: Shaniqua Rischer has more than 10 years of experience working with nonprofits directly and as a volunteer. She has an extensive background in new program development and implementation, partnership collaboration, and fundraising. She has worked in several ministries as a volunteer and servant leader and has dedicated her life to being the hands and feet of Christ by serving all. On a mission trip to Kenya in 2009, Shaniqua felt the need to impact others on an international scale and has since founded At The Cross Global Ministries. She also writes a weekly blog-style devotional at Great Is.org (which launched in February 2011) where she inspires many to continue their faith walk with God. Shaniqua holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University.

Kacey Bess, Vice-President: Kacey Bess has over six years of experience in marketing communications. Over the years, she has volunteered at a number of non-profit organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters, United Way and the African American Museum. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Texas and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Dr. Tamara Bertrand Jones, Secretary: Dr. Tamara Bertrand Jones currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Higher Education in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at Florida State University. She completed her doctorate in Research and Program Evaluation at Florida State University. She is also advisor to the International Medical Outreach, an organization that journeys to other countries to provide much needed medical care.

Chenay Taylor, Treasurer: Chenay Taylor has been an educator for nine years. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. She worked for Marconi Communications, until deciding to become an educator, teaching Advanced Placement Statistics and other advanced math courses. Mrs. Taylor was a co-founder of an event planning company and served as treasurer. She has worked in numerous ministries and served with Spirit Groove Ministries in their finance department.

Marci Hailey: Marci Hailey is an international missionary traveling to Kenya, South Africa and has served as Team Coordinator for a Ghana mission. She leads small groups of women in prayer and life coaching through her ministry and volunteer efforts. Marci is also an entrepreneur, co-founder of Imaginuity, a web development company based in Dallas, TX and Spirit Groove a Christian non-profit organization which reached out to the community of believers to impact the Dallas area.
