At The Cross Global Ministries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, faith-based Christian organization whose mission is to engage and encourage the Children of God through outreach, missions, and devotion.
Love Him or hate Him; deny Him or believe in Him… the ENTIRE world changed at the Cross with Jesus Christ. For those who believe, each person has an at the cross moment when they lay it down: their burdens, fears, hopes, dreams, sins and despair, to embrace Christ. It is from that moment that At The Cross Global Ministries was born.

Founded on a mission field in Kenya.
On a mission trip to Kenya in 2009, Shaniqua Rischer felt the need to impact others on an international scale, and she founded At The Cross Global Ministries. She has dedicated her life to being the hands and feet of Christ by serving all.
At The Cross Global Ministries serves as a vehicle to host, organize, and carry out Christian conferences and events, and to support, coordinate, and lead global mission trips.

Shaniqua brings a background in program development, partnership building, and fundraising. She is an international speaker who has ministered in 19 countries, an author, and co-host of The Brave Becoming podcast. She holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.A. in Christian Education from Dallas Baptist University.

Missions · Missio Dei
Christ’s commission still remains.
Missio Dei, “the sending of God,” is the missions arm of At The Cross Global Ministries. Even today there are people untouched and unreached by the Gospel, and our goal is to reach those groups all across the world.
Christ also told us to remember the least of these. Through partnerships with churches and non-governmental organizations, we bring Christ-focused mission teams to serve people without access to basic resources such as food, shelter, and health care, with a focus on poverty, education, and disaster relief.

Shaniqua’s trip to Kenya opened the door to international ministry and led to the founding of At The Cross Global Ministries.
West Africa
Time spent with ministry partners in The Gambia, including Abiding Word Ministries and Little Feet Christian School.
Divine Empowerment Women’s Conference
A team of ten women from Texas traveled to Nkwanta to serve alongside missionaries Rev. Loyd and Jan’et Chinn of WorldVenture Ghana. The team ministered at a children’s home and joined the 2012 Divine Empowerment Women’s Conference.
Food distribution & youth development
In October 2013, a mission team distributed food to families and invested in young people through youth development.
With Concord Church
Medical mission
In March 2016, a team returned to The Gambia for a medical mission, preparing medications and caring for patients.
Vacation Bible School & women’s ministry
A team hosted Vacation Bible School for children, ministered to local mothers, and provided humanitarian aid.

Christmas in Kenya
December 1–12, 2018. A return to Kenya to show the love of Christ to vulnerable children and youth.

A bridge for churches to reach their communities.
We host Christ-centered conferences and events in cities across the United States. We partner with small to mid-size churches that lack the resources to host events alone, serving as an organizing agent and bridge so we can reach out together.

Back to School Picnic & Giveaway
A summer picnic that equips college-bound youth who aged out of foster care with what they need for dorm and apartment life.
Thanksgiving Party for a Cause
Every Thanksgiving since 2021 (2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024), our Party for a Cause has collected donations for New Start in Life Foundation to share the blessings of the season with families in need.
Christmas Toy Drive
Collecting and giving toys so children in our community have gifts to open at Christmas.

Thanksgiving & Christmas with New Start in Life Foundation
From November through Christmas 2024, our supporters gave generously so children and families could celebrate the season. That giving was in addition to the toys and Thanksgiving food donated along the way.

A Different World BBQ & Fish Fry
Our back-to-school picnic supported five PAL (Preparation for Adult Living) students who aged out of the foster care system and chose to pursue higher education across Texas. Supporters filled Amazon wish lists with everything they needed for dorm and apartment life, and every item was hand-delivered or shipped to them.

Sunday Funday: Party for a Cause
What began in 2021 as our first Holiday Sunday Funday is now an annual holiday tradition. Guests gather, dance, and celebrate, and every party is a party for a cause: each year, the gifts people bring or buy from our Amazon wish list go to a family who needs a brighter Christmas.
INREACH
One Day. Many Hands. Simply Serving.
John 13:13–17
INREACH is our outreach project dedicated to serving the least of these in our communities. We can’t help everyone, but we can go deep and help those we can, serving as the hands and feet of Christ by meeting needs in a dignified manner. Help us reach IN and help others.
Dallas, May 17: a morning of breakfast, haircuts, hygiene kits, Bibles, and prayer for neighbors in need.
Oak Cliff, July 23: volunteers painted and repaired the home of a great-grandmother raising her four great-granddaughters. Dedicated to the memory of Joe W. Rischer.
Austin: helped a grandmother raising three grandchildren build the fence CPS required to keep her family together.
Houston & Galveston, Oct 7: volunteers caravanned to restore the homes of two families who lost nearly everything in Hurricane Harvey.

An intimate conversation with God.
Prayer is part of an intimate conversation with God, with both speaking and listening. Just as the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, we are called to intercede for others.
